Competition Altimeter. The Zeta II is compliant with all FAI and NAR specifications for competition altimeters. (certification pending)

FAI Approved. As of 15-Jun-2026, the Zeta II is a approved for use in FAI spacemodelling competition.

Small and Lightweight. The Zeta II board is 15 mm x 28 mm. Mass of the altimeter is 1.7 grams (excluding battery)

Latest Technology. The Zeta II uses a Bosch Sensortec BMP580 digital pressure sensor. This is a member of the newest generation of altimeters by Bosch, a leader in high technology sensors.

Acceleration. The Zeta II includes an LIS3DH 3-axis accelerometer (+/- 16 G).

Secure Download. The Zeta II downloads data to a computer using a MicroUSB data cable.

Advanced Filtering. The ZetaPost postprocessing program includes Adaptive Median filtering to remove spike noise and Savitzky-Golay filtering to smooth the data.
